Let's Go Strong into 2012!

Will you help Jobs with Justice continue stirring up trouble and linking the progressive movement together through 2012? Pitch in $25 for individuals, $100 for small organizations, $500 for organizations with more than 500 members, or $1,000 for larger organizations to get us through 2012.

Here are some of the things we're helping with:

*The Dallas AFL-CIO is building up their electronic outreach as they prepare for a very crucial 2012. They ask us to go to www.facebook.com/dallasaflcio and hit the "like" button.

Reverend Charles Stovall is helping organizing pickets at the Qwik Stop, 1909 MLK Boulevard in Dallas, from 10 AM to 5:30 Monday through Saturday. Call 214-869-2045 for more information

Cesar Calderon of the Bakery Workers asks us to call CEO Dave Berg and tell him to bargain fairly with the American Crystal Sugar Company employees instead of locking them out! Berg's number is 218-236-4400. Cesar's is 240-522-7463

Verizon workers are calling for community support to get fair negotiations and a good contract. Contact Russ Davis

Walmart "associates" need our help to organize. Contact the United Food and Commercial Workers

We are initiating a "Union and Civil Rights Songfest" for 2 PM on Sunday, February 26, at 1408 N Washington in Dallas.

Join our planning meeting

We will meet by conference call on Wednesday evening, January 11, at 7 PM. If you are interested, let me know right away. We will not trudge out to Grand Prairie for a face-to-face meeting this month.
You can join or contribute to North Texas Jobs with Justice at http://www.labordallas.org/join.htm or by sending a check to Box 225822, Dallas TX 75222. Please do!
