Old-time members of North Texas Jobs with Justice recall that our solidarity efforts in the Greyhound strike of 1989 actually kicked off our chapter in January 1990. Then and now, Greyhound management was intent on cutting wages and benefits as well as cutting service to bus riders. ATU Local 1700 represents 3,000 Greyhound drivers. They will hold a rally at the downtown Dallas Greyhound Terminal on Commerce & Lamar at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, November 15.
