ACORN and Immigrants' Groups Call March

At the Jobs with Justice Fiesta on September 1, activist Margarita Alvarez challenged all activists show solidarity with other workers, whether "documented" or not. She invited the crowd to participate in a march on Labor Day beginning at 11 AM.

Intl. March Labor Day (9/4), starting at 10 AM, Guadalupe Cathedral, Dallas. Bring USA flags & wear white T-shirts.
Schedule:
10 AM - Meet at Guadalupe Cathedral, St. Paul @ Ross Ave, by the Meyerson.
11 AM- Intl. March starts (on the sidewalk) toward Dallas City Hall
12 N- 2 PM - Community Leaders speak for fair laws for Immigrant workers.

Nuestra lucha tiene metas claras, concretas y poderosas para el aquí y el ahora que vivimos, y para el futuro de nuestros hijos; y la comunidad internacional sabrá de nuestra fuerza unida y de la fortaleza de nuestros aliados.

Los derechos esenciales del hombre no nacen del hecho de ser nacional de un país determinado, sino que tienen como fundamento los atributos de la persona humana.
