On August 14, 1935, America's most successful program was signed into law by President Roosevelt. Since then, millions of American retirees, disabled workers, widows, and orphans have found Social Security to be indispensable. Today, while some politicians want to cut Social Security, we want to celebrate its 70th anniversary!
