When the Union of Needletrades and Industrial Employees joined with the Hotel and Restaurant Employes, they formed the only union whose initials make a sentence, "Unite here!" This proud union has carried out some of the most dramatic organizing drives in the history of Dallas County. A group of them are pictured below at the 2004 Dallas Labor Day breakfast.
