Next Jobs with Justice Meeting April 9th:

jwj meeting on Black HistoryALEC is coming to town!

On July 30th the American Legislative Exchange Council will be holding its annual meeting in Dallas. Through the corporate-funded American Legislative Exchange Council, global corporations and state politicians vote behind closed doors to try to rewrite state laws that govern your rights. These so-called "model bills" reach into almost every area of American life and often directly benefit huge corporations.  Learn more at http://www.alecexposed.org/wiki/ALEC_Exposed
We need to build a coalition of DFW area community groups, students, unions, faith groups, etc. to help expose ALEC while they meet in our city! So let’s use this meeting to discuss creative ways to bring to light to the public the evil workings ALEC! Wednesday, April 9, 7PM at 1408 N Washington Ave, East Dallas.  For more information or call Rosemarie Rieger at 214-632-5695 or e-mail jobswithjusticetexas@gmail.com.
